兩年多的防疫日子，人與人之間的相聚變得小心翼翼，出外也需要準備多一點勇氣，即使努力地維持接近正常的生活，持續的掛慮卻讓我們的 心神蒼白疲弱。於是我們發現，我們真正需要的，是內在的能量，讓身心都足夠強壯地面對未知的營養，
台東，日昇之處，島上每天接收第一道光線的地方。當世界正走向新的防疫生活篇章，2022年，台東要為台灣帶來更多療癒的光。
白天的日光帶來使人骨骼強壯的維他命D；日落後，【台東光祭】在知本這擁有百年歷史的溫泉區，散發溫暖療癒的光芒，陪伴人們駐足或漫步在台東的山水自然間。
在溫泉水舒緩身心的同時，【台東光祭】聲光藝術作品的柔和微光，正悄悄將滿滿活力營養素注入人們的心靈，重新感受人與人、人與大自然之間的溫度，一起想像一個新的開始。
集結能量．在一起．再出發
【台東光祭】以「集結能量」的信念展開，藉由藝術，將「活力」與「能量」為台灣帶來飽滿氣力，並在疫情之下，重振士氣鼓舞人心，團結在一起、再出發，以滿滿能量邁向未來。

創作理念｜
知本以溫泉而崛起，作品以泉為靈感，想像大地復甦、噴湧出柱的泉水。作品由一支支柱狀噴泉 構成，然而朝向天際流動的泉其並不是真正的水，而是光，以動態的燈光擬態而成的噴泉光 柱，緩緩地從下向上湧動，一柱柱的光泉有高有低、有疏有密，與樹林交織，使得林間熠熠生生 輝，形成動態的光景與視界。
泉水是大自然的恩惠，噴泉帶給人向上的希望，作品『金勵湯』，將片片飛染的金光點綴在叢葉 林間，延著月光灑落草地照亮霧氣，希冀提供觀眾正能量，創造充滿暖意的光境與氛圍。
Design concept｜
Inspired by the famous hot spring in Zhiben, this artwork depicts subterranean water springing from a natural discharge point on the surface. Composed of trickles of spring water, the upward floating spring is actually not water, but light. Dynamic light simulates trickles of spring water floating slowly upward from the ground at different heights and in different densities. Intertwined with forest trees, these shimmering lights form a dynamic light display.
Spring water is a gift from nature and always brings hope to people. The art piece “Jin Li Tang” places glittering lights on trees in the forest. Under the moonlight, mist on the grassland conveys a positive power to the audience by creating a warm light display and atmosphere.

法國的藝術團隊Groupe LAPS帶來他們最著名的人型骨架結合燈光音效的大型裝置藝術 「Keyframes」-關鍵影格。透過燈光程式設計，如同逐格動畫一樣，逐個閃亮的人物在月夜裡隨 著音樂運動，演繹出極具動態感的夜之舞。
「Keyframes」是藝術家透過攝影去思考視覺暫留，在畫面上物化時間。用全新的方式呈現雕塑— 集結燈光、聲音元素和電腦編程。使用在運動的不連續性、準確性和詩意的幻想、科學和美學 用性之間提供的視覺成為更多可能性。
Design concept｜
The French artist, Groupe LAPS, combines its well-known ‘humanoid skull’ piece with light and sound effects to create this large-scale art installation, “Keyframes.” Utilizing a light program design, shiny figures move along to music under the moonlight to create a dynamic dance of the night, like a stop-motion animation.
Keyframes is about the persistence of vision through photography, materializing time on the screen. Sculpture is presented in a brand new way - combining lighting, sound elements, and computer programming. More possibilities are created with visuals providing discontinuation, accuracy, poetic imagination, science, aesthetics, and functionality.

近兩層樓高的巨大鳳凰螺，是陳浚豪與台東在地藝術家打鬼(蔡永貴)共創的全新作品。以鐵條焊 接構成鳳凰螺造型，再以成千上萬的白色乒乓球綿密的布滿螺身，最後打上逐漸變色的燈光，呈 現浪漫的貝殼夢境。大量乒乓球量化造成質變的視覺肌理形塑大型雕塑手作的美感與溫暖質地， 而非電腦切割的冷冽線條。巨大的量體，讓人即使身處山中的知本，也能清晰地「聽」見海的聲 音;人與貝殼尺度對調，令人不得不注視原以為微不足道的事物與問題。
Design concept｜
This two-floor high Strombus is a new collaboration between Chen Chun Hao and a local artist from Taitung, Paigui (Tsai Yung-Gui). Shaped with welded iron bars, the body of this Strombus is densely decorated with thousands of white ping-pong balls. The goal of the installation is to use color changing lights to create a romantic atmosphere. Numerous ping-pong balls create a sense of hand-made beauty, and the warmth of this large sculpture is in contrast with the rigid lines made by computers. The huge body of Strombus reminds us of Zhiben, where even in the mountain area, its visitors can still “hear” the sea. From different perspectives, this artwork asks us to focus on seemingly trivial things as if they have great value.

一顆果實從遙遠的地方來，歷經播種、萌芽、結實長大，千辛萬苦抵達到我們的眼前。在大自然 的環境裡，除了陽光、空氣與水的不可或缺，有時候，天候、蟲害、災難也是孕育其生命力的其 中一個環節。如果將所有的養分都注入到這片土地中，這段期間所經歷的記憶會結出什麼樣的景 觀呢?《實光旅行》為綠蔭中的一座光廊隧道，邀請觀眾一同參與色彩和光的塗繪，以成長與茁 壯的過程來想像，在廊道中結下累累果實。
Design concept｜
The journey from seed to fruit is a long and difficult one from seeding to sprouting, and then flowering. In nature, sunlight, air, and water are essential and sometimes weather, insects, and disasters are important for growth. If this land is nourished with all the nutrients it needs, what precious memories will we keep? The piece “Light Travel” is a light corridor of green shade that invites the audience to paint together with colors and light and free their imagination through the process of growth and fruit.

寬廣的草原上，一匹白馬⺎自佇立在一片如雪般朦朧、又如溫泉瀰漫霧氣的白色竹籤中，夢境般 的景象，與一旁流動的公路車輛及好奇停留的遊客，形成一幅超現的畫面。
對於生長在竹工藝廠的藝術家游文富來說，竹子是其從小生命的必然，也是他無法割捨的創作媒 介。運用原本給人尖銳富彈性感覺的一公尺高竹籤，在疫後復甦的氣息中，形塑一種柔軟浪漫又 奇幻的情懷，迷濛雪白上淺淺一抹粉紅，在翠綠的花東縱谷間，心中那片夢土躍然眼前。
Design concept｜
On the spacious grassland, a white horse is standing on a white bamboo stick, symbolizing the white, steaming hot spring. This dreamlike scene, combined with the nearby vehicles on the road, and the curious visitors who stop by, creates a surreal canvas.
For the artist Yu Wen-Fu, who grew up in a bamboo craft factory, bamboo has been a part of his life since his childhood and something that he insists on using for his creations. Using a sharp but flexible one-meter high bamboo stick, he attempts to create a soft, romantic, and fantastical atmosphere. The misty white and light pink colors combined with the lush green colors of Huatung Valley create a portrait of a dream land in our mind.

"Ruma.家家有火，表示家人在煮飯家有火，很多人要吃飯家有火、家族人口旺盛家有火，卑南 語Ruma是家的意思，用傳統建家屋材料竹子及木頭建構一個溫暖可以在一起休息的地方，是安定 的溫暖的自在的家，也是每個人內心想要愛與被愛的地方。
用三面牆建構一個家，白天呈現的是竹節摟空穿透的堅固牆面(象徵男人的力量)，晚上溫暖的 黃光從一個個摟空的大大小小圓照射出來(象徵女人的多面向)，屋內有三顆石頭的火堆(火 燈)，是傳統家屋的象徵，也是現代與疫情共存的我們很需要的溫暖的光。
Design concept｜
“Ruma, Cooking Fire at Home” symbolizes the importance of cooking fires for households. In Pinuyumayan, Ruma means ‘home’- one that is traditionally built with bamboo and wood materials where families can warmly and comfortably rest together, a place where each of us feels love for others and loved by others.
This house has three walls. At day time, the walls built with a hollowed out bamboo structure symbolize the power of men while at night time a warm yellow light is projected from both big and small hollowed-out circles (symbolizing the many faces of women). There are three stone fire piles (fire lights) representing a cooking fire at home, and the warm light that we all need right now when living with COVID-19.

作品「光盾」以卑南族部落精神為創作發想,讓團結、守護的精神融入作品意象當中,轉化族人訓練 時的身體姿態與祈福時人與人身體交織的狀態,創造延伸出肢體連結散發出的能量曲線裝置,呈現出 人們在一起為了守護土地的勇氣與精神,讓光成為能量的發散體,孕育著生長在此的人們,並將人們串 流連接成為守護這塊土地的力量。
Design concept｜
This art piece “Light Shield,” is inspired by the Peinan community spirit, and incorporates the concepts of union and protection into it by portraying the praying body position of the Peinan people during training. The energy curve installation is created through extensive limb connections to represent the courage and spirit of the people who vow to protect the land. Light, as an emitting body of energy, nourishes the people who thrive here and provides them with the power to protect this land.

整件作品有如成串漂浮在草原上、透著亮光的氣泡。從溫暖放鬆的溫泉浴中出來，散步到星星草 原，便會看到這一圈又一圈浪漫氣泡般的藝術裝置。在氣泡間漫步，或是在圓圈邊緣坐下，享受 周圍樹林裡吹來的涼風，與友人在閒談中看星星...，認識的、不認識的，都被圈在一起。 此作品也是《台東光祭》表演藝術活動的主舞台。不論是⺠眾或表演者，人們在圈圈中不斷流動 的過程，也讓人與人之間的距離產生了不一樣的關係。
Design concept｜
Floating on the grassland in chains, this art installation is made up of bubbles filled with light. After enjoying their relaxing hot spring bath, visitors can take a walk to the grassland to appreciate the chains of romantic bubbles. Visitors are invited to either wander between the bubbles or sit on a ring of bubbles to enjoy the cool and soothing breeze, chat with friends, and gaze up at stars in the night sky. Friends and strangers can meet here to enjoy the bubbles together.
This artwork also serves as the stage of the Taitung Light Festival. When floating, both the audience and artists can experience the different relationships between people from various distances.
